“微博”自誕生以來便大紅大紫。中國網(wǎng)民親切地把“微博”稱作“圍脖”。一起學(xué)習(xí)跟“微博”相關(guān)的詞匯。
   
    1.microblog微博
   
    “微博”除了直譯為Weibo以外，還可用microblog來表示。microblog由前綴micro和名詞blog組成：micro表示“微小的”，如microwave oven(微波爐), microsoft(微軟)；blog意為“博客，網(wǎng)絡(luò)日志”。
   
    例：Many netizens are blog users--so many so that our time is called “the Age of Blogs”.許多網(wǎng)民都是博客用戶，以至于我們的時(shí)代被稱為“博客時(shí)代”。
   
    “博主”就是author，有時(shí)也被稱為sender；博主的“粉絲”就是follower；“微博實(shí)名制”即real-name tweeting registration system。
   
    2.zombie fan僵尸粉
   
    “僵尸粉”就是微博上的fake follower(虛假粉絲)，即花錢就可以買到“關(guān)注”、有名無實(shí)的微博粉絲。zombie 指“僵尸”；fan就是“粉絲”啦！
   
    例：Don’t imagine you have more fans just because the number of your fans is bigger--some of them might be “zombie fans”.別單憑數(shù)量更多就以為自己的粉絲更多--他們當(dāng)中的一些人可能是“僵尸粉”。
   
    3.Weibo refutes rumors微博辟謠
   
    refute是動(dòng)詞，意為“反駁，駁斥”；rumor作名詞指“謠言”，作動(dòng)詞指“謠傳”。
   
    例：It is rumored that she has committed suicide.據(jù)傳聞，她已自殺身亡。
